Ralph Hobratschk

Experience makes Ralph Hobratschk an asset to the current board as he has served more years as a member than the others and has led as president for three years, secretary for two years and vice president for five years. In all, Hobratschk has served more than 20 years.

Hobratschk is the senior pastor at Hope Lutheran Church in Friendswood. He is married to Lynn Hobratschk, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction for Friendswood ISD. They have two children, Kasi and John and three grandchildren.

In the community, Hobratschk is a Chaplain for the Friendswood Police Department. He serves as a is a member of Rotary Club of Friendswood where he has served as president and president-elect, on the Board of Directors, and in the office of treasurer. He was also named a Paul Harris Fellow. At Concordia University Texas, Hobratschk holds the position of adjunct professor. He has also held leadership roles in Friendswood Nutrition Center, Inc. and the Friendswood Counseling Center.

In his spare time, he enjoys music, exercising, hunting, woodworking, computers, and reading.
