Friendswood Independent School District proudly recognized nine Friendswood High School seniors during its annual Military Signing Day, celebrating their commitment to serve in the United States Armed Forces and military academies. Surrounded by family, friends, and school staff, these students were honored for their decision to pursue a path of service, leadership, and dedication to something greater than themselves.
Military Signing Day serves as an opportunity to recognize students who have chosen to defend and support our nation through military service.
The following students were recognized:
● Caroline Adams — U.S. Naval Academy
● Jacob Boek — U.S. Navy
● Samuel Brown — U.S. Marine Corps
● Aiden Fitzgerald — United States Military Academy at West Point
● Loreley Hager — U.S. Navy
● Garrison McElwain — U.S. Merchant Marine Academy
● Elijah Meaux — U.S. Marine Corps
● Laura Rubio — U.S. Naval Academy
● Syin Troyer — U.S. Navy (Naval ROTC Scholarship)
“Their willingness to serve our country speaks to their character, discipline, and commitment,” said Superintendent Thad Roher. We are proud of each of them and grateful for their decision to make a difference through service.”
Military Signing Day highlights the diverse post-graduation paths of Friendswood High School students and honors those who choose to serve in the armed forces. Friendswood ISD extends its sincere appreciation to these students and their families for their commitment and sacrifice.
