Friendswood Independent School District proudly recognizes eight Friendswood High School seniors who have committed to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level. With these latest signings, Friendswood ISD has now had 18 student-athletes commit to compete at the next level so far this year.
These students have demonstrated dedication, perseverance, and excellence both in the
classroom and in competition:
● Aiden Fitzgerald has signed with the United States Military Academy at West Point to compete in cross country and track while studying biology. A four-year varsity athlete, he has earned All-State honors and set multiple school records.
● Nate Henderson will attend Sewanee: The University of the South to join the men’s swimming program while pursuing a pre-med track.
● Landry Williamson has committed to Southwestern University to continue her lacrosse career. She is a team captain and an all-district honoree, and she maintains a 4.7 GPA.
● Randi Teague will attend Stephen F. Austin State University, competing in cheer while majoring in interior design. She helped lead FHS to a UIL championship and multiple
national titles.
● Ronin Passons has committed to Dallas College Eastfield Campus to continue his basketball career after demonstrating strong leadership and dedication to the program.
● Jaxon Black will play baseball at the University of St. Thomas. A two-sport letterman, he earned All-District honors and looks forward to contributing at the next level.
● Zane Valdez has signed with Alfred University to play baseball, a testament to his resilience and determination.
● Peyton Resnick will continue his baseball career at Dallas College Eastfield Campus after a standout senior season and years of consistent leadership. “Each of these students represents the pride and tradition of Friendswood ISD,” said district leadership. “Their commitment to excellence in academics and athletics is something our entire community celebrates.”
