On Saturday Oct. 2, Friendswood High School Girls and Boys 5A Swim and Dive teams kicked off their season and placed first overall for combined girls and boys events.
The Mustangs competed against Alvin High School, Clear Brook High School, Clear Falls High School, Clear Lake High School and North Shore/Galena Park High School. The results were as follows:

2nd place - Clear Lake ( 325 Points)
