District Handbooks and Policies

In accordance with Senate Bill 1306: FISD  charges  each  principal  with  being  responsible  for  discipline  on  his/her  respective  campus.  All  campuses  have  at  least  one  Assistant  Principal,  counselor,  and  School  Psychologist  for  each  campus.   Discipline  will  be  handled  by  principals  as  well  as  any  assistant  principal.   The  District  believes  that  a  collaborative  approach  with  those  responsible  for  a  smaller  group  of  students  is  more  advantageous  for  students  and  provides  more  support  for  the  students  and  their families.
