CAC
MISSION
During the spring of this year, the Board was presented with the Long Range Facility Plan and analysis by PBK. This plan and analysis were gathered through input of campus teams and administration to capture the perceived facility needs of the District for the future. These include prioritized maintenance items and large project proposals to address growth and/or instructional needs. The District is recommending the creation of a Citizen’s Advisory Committee made up of stakeholders to review the plan and to present the Board of Trustees with recommendations for future facility and maintenance needs.
To help Friendswood ISD plan for the future, the FISD Citizens Advisory Committee is charged with representing the entire community in the facility planning process by reviewing the Long Range Facility Plan and developing a bond recommendation under $125 million that will address the current facility needs of the district, position the District for the future, and can be supported by the Friendswood ISD community.
To understand more about FISD’s reasons behind this decision, please read the FISD Strategic Plan.
