Laura Seifert

Laura is married to Jason, and they have two children in Friendswood schools.

Laura is the founder of Yes. Ministries, a discipleship ministry in Houston. She teaches Bible studies throughout the greater Houston area and also enjoys speaking at numerous women’s event and retreats each year.

Laura Seifert shares why she joined the board and what she hopes to accomplish:
“Our family is incredibly blessed to live in such a wonderful community, with great people, great schools and a long history of raising up children who excel not only in academics and activities but also in character.
As a mother of young children, I want to see this history continue. To that end, I sensed a burden and calling to pursue a position with the FISD Board of Trustees. After much prayer and wise counsel, this calling was affirmed, and I am delighted and humbled to have the opportunity to work with others to see our children and community flourish.”
