Why he joined the Board: I am convinced that the future of our communities and nation as a whole heavily depends on the education of our young people. FISD has an incredible tradition and legacy of excellence in education, and I want to do everything I can to ensure that legacy continues. As a product of public schools, I realize the critical role they played in any success I have had, and I want that same opportunity for my own children and for those throughout our community.
What he hopes to accomplish: I want FISD to be a model for our state and country for innovation, excellence, and its ability to prepare individual students to thrive in the world they will inherit. Because of its history, leadership and incredible families, I believe it has that kind of potential and I want to do my part.
